I am offering for sale this GOOD USER Vintage Roofing Shingling Axe Inv#DR02 Overall it measures 12-1/4″ L, head measures x 6-1/4″ H x 3-1/4″ W at cutting edge. Original handle measures 10-1/4″ L. It weighs 1lbs 13oz. This is a single bit double beveled edge shingling axe with octagon hammer head. It has many dings, rust, pitting and scars from use and age, not unusual for a vintage used axe. It is not sharp and will need sharpening to get it back to its optimal cutting edge. (see photos). The original handle has a split at axe head but still secure (see close-ups) It has some stains. scars and paint spatters (see close-up). Head is tight and secure (see photos).
