Antique Snell’s Auger Bit Set in Wooden Box Patented 1886!

Up for sale is a nice original auger bit set. There are multiple brands of auger bits. 7 are Snell, 2 are Wrist Jennings, 1 is Irwin, 1 is Eclipse and 1 is worn and unable to be identified although I believe it is Snell. The wooden box measures 10 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ x 2 3/4″. Please review the photos for the condition. We’ve been in the antique and sports card business for 10 years! Hello from Vermont! I have for sale a beautiful Antique handmade barn beam drill. 2″ Measures 18-1/4″ long x 17″ wide. From point on bottom to top of auger measures 9 inches. The Handle is beautifully tapered for the hands. Rounded and the grain in the wood is very nice. The name T.SNELL 8 is stamped in metal under handle. The Handle has a little wiggle. Beautifully crafted!! Selling in preowned condition- please see all pics!

Vintage SNELL’S AUGER BITS

This set contains bates, Vulcan, Irwin, and an unknown drill auger bit. Total of 11 bits. Sizes I could see where 14,12,10,8, and 7. The smaller bits didn’t show a size. Also there were two each of the 12, 10, and 8s. Feel free to ask any questions. The hold ear is wood wrapped I. Faux leather material. See pic on one side the material is bubbling.
