The Model No. 781 is Lufkin’s equivalent to the popular Stanley No. 62, a “fully brass-bound” rule designed for extra durability on job sites, hence the (62) marking on the item after the Lufkin model number.

Stanley Rule & Level Co. No. 5 Adjustable 26″ Level

Up for Sale is a Vintage Stanley Rule & Level Co. No.5 26″ Box Level. It is in pretty good shape, the black paint around the vial windows is imperfect and would use a touch up. Wood is flush with the brass shoulders on either end which allow it to maintain its levelness for decades. Both vials are roughly within their lines when placed on a flat level surface. Nameplate is missing one screw, and one is more rusted than the others. Any questions feel free to ask!
