Vintage Stanley Rule & Level Company No. 2 Smooth Bench Plane – Nice Rosewood

I’m unsure on the type and year but I’m guessing its pre 1915. The wood is in good condition just has smearing dont see any cracks. The sole is 7 1/2″ long and 2″ wide. The bottom of the sole has some paint or varnish residue then the rest of it just has some patina and light rust. View photos for further details.

Vintage No. 32 Stanley Boxwood and Brass Folding 12″ Ruler with Slide Caliper

This is a great little Stanley boxwood and brass 12 inch fold-up ruler with a sliding caliper. It is a Stanley number 32. As noted, the ruler is in great shape overall. It has some wear and stray marks from age and handling, and the brass has areas of discoloration, but that’s about it. The hinges all work perfectly, the caliper is present and slides just as it should, and while the brass has some areas of dark coloration, it also has quite a bit of original luster, particularly on the underside. Great little ruler.

Beautiful Stanley Number 2, Type 15 (1931-1932) Smoothing Plane. Excellent condition, completely refinished. Beautiful Brazilian Rosewood tote and knob, dent and crack free. Hardly used sweetheart blade honed to razor sharp. Sole and wings great shape with no dents or pits. Selling because I am 86 and it is time to quit collecting and part with my collection. I have 3-8 all sizes mostly type 11 that I will be selling.
