ADD THIS NEAT COLLECTIBLE TO YOUR VINTAGE HARDWARE COLLECTION TODAY! You will be getting this Pre-Owned Vintage Tower Mfg. Corp. Plastic Red & White 5/8″ Nail Container with Nails to add to your collection today! You will be getting the exact vintage package of Tower brand nails that you see in the pictures. The container is made out of clear plastic with a red and white silk-screened ‘label’ circling the top, a red bottom and a red cap. The label says “10-cents Tower Mfg. Corp Madison, Ind. K-F450 – 5/8” – 18 GA. Nails 1 oz. Net”. This neat canister of nails measures 2-1/2” tall and is 1” in diameter (all measurements are taken at the widest points and are approximate) and even comes with some of the original nails in it (about half of them). Add this to your collection of vintage hardware and tools. It would also make a nice give for a serious collector as there aren’t many of these out there. This Vintage Tower Nail Container has been used and some of the nails are missing. It shows slight wear with only very minor surface scratches. The lid has a small 1/4” split in it (please see all pictures) but I would consider it in good overall condition for its age. I am selling this in AS-IS Condition at a low price and it will be coming from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Unusual Vintage Bar Clamp For Round Column or Pipe? I’d guess this is for some special trade or industry use. Maybe for large iron pipes or wooden columns? Steamfitters clamp? I’ve been repairing houses and furniture for 40 years and never had a situation where I can imagine using this bar clamp. The lower jaw has a 5 1/2″ diameter and the upper jaw is approx. 3 1/2″ diameter. The lower jaw seems to be wedged in place by something that looks like a screwdriver. the span for the 2 jaws is from 35 3/4″ at it’s widest position to 20 1/4″ at its narrowest. The bar itself, not counting the crank and thread is approx. 41 1/2″ long It weighs 19 lb.
