Antique Union No. 114 Spokeshave Flat Bottom 10 3/4″ Spoke Shave w/ 2″ Iron

From John Stanley Antique Tools – This listing is for an antique spoke shave made by and marked on the cutter blade – Union Mfg. Co / New Britain, CT. / USA. Measures 10 3/4″ long with a 2″ wide blade. Due to the cutter tightening screw not holding the blade securely in place, a previous owner used pliers to tighten the screw to hold the blade in place. We have shown this screw in the photos. This still retains most of the original japanning. We will gladly combine items to save on your shipping costs when practical and possible.
