Old hammer. Unbranded. Good condition for its age, see pictures for signs of wear. It appears to have been hand forged to be used as either a slate hammer and/or battle hammer. It has a wide grip wooden handle with a metal sleeve to protect and reinforce the handle and head. The construction does not appear to be design for snow/ice, but it does have some characteristics of a snow knocker. Weighs 14.3 oz with handle on. Handle measures at 15”. Head measures at just under 4 1/4”

There is a makers mark symbol but I do not know the brand associated with it. It is used so shows wear but still structurally good with nice used look and condition. Vintage Magnetic Tack Hammer Upholstery Hammer Narrow Metal with Wood Handle

Vintage tack hammer, normally used for upholstery tacking. Hammer is 11″ long and head is 4″ across. Head ends are approx. 7/16″ wide. Hammer has quite a bit of wear, but handle wood is smooth. Any brand or markings have worn off. Claw end opening has narrowed from age. Paint worn off on head. No rust. Hammer is still very functional.
