Reground and rehung Vaughan builders hatchet. Began it’s life bland and utilitarian, now it continues on with some style on an 11 inch blonde hickory handle. Good for throwing but works just as well as a small camp hatchet or for taking apart game.

Two Vintage VAUGHAW Ball Peen Hammers.

Both of these hammers came from a carpenters workshop in eastern Iowa. Both measure just over 15″ long, one has a larger hammer, weighs 2.4lbs. (38.4 oz) the smaller weighs 2lbs.(32 oz). Both handles have some cracks in the wood, the larger has a chip near the top. Both are marked “BN INC” as well as VAUGHAN MADE IN THE USA too. Great for a collector and I am sure they have a lot of life left in them for someone who wants to put them back in their toolbox.
