RARE Sheffield Steel Wood Carving Gouge Chisel Macaroni 1/8″ Cut 8.5″ Long
For sale is a Sheffield Steel (Ward & Payne) Wood Carving Gouge or Chisel. This is a long bent macaroni, with a 1/8″ cut, and is about 8.5″ long. The macaroni is a specialty chisel with a box shape cut that I use for feather separation when carving birds. The tool is in good condition. Sharp and ready for work.

Vintage Ward & Payne Anvil Brand Wooden Tool Box – Set No. 2 Circa estimated early century A rare survivor of a Ward & Payne Anvil Brand tool set presented in clean used condition. Chis’ mallet & hammer are marked Ward & Payne. Rule is a fine Rabone No. 1375. Turnscrew & sw are unmarked. I believe tools are likely to all be original to the set with exception possibly of the turnscrew. A removable foam layer has been added to base to protect the tools, please see images for further details. Dimensions approx. Weight 1880g
