We checked the square against two true ones we had and it appears to be a true 90 degrees. Then checked it against a straight edge, drawing lines and flipping it over and it was the same result. The blade is 7 1/4 inches on top and the inside measurement is 6 1/4 inches. The stock is 4 1/64ths inches outside and the inside is 3 3/16 inch. We are measuring with an old ruler and could be off a hair. We do not have a Micrometer at the moment. Please study photos as they are part of the description. The tool has some scratches and nicks. There is a spot near the front of the blade that has some clear finish of some type but we did not have any goof off on hand to remove it. It weighs 13.2 ounces prior to packing materials and a sturdy box.
