The fruitwood handle has a small brass ring, which when pulled opens & closes the scissors and is furnished with a repousse nickel silver collar. The scissors feature a small gripping surface, to hold the flower or fruit which has been cut The top unscrews to reveal a small pollen brush, used for cross-pollination The picker features a bamboo shaft, and the scissors are embossed with the maker: 'Adrien Dubois' Also known as: 'Cueilleuse du Dubois' 'Many adverts at the time described the casual joy of using Adrien Dubois’ garden cane, which promises to pick flowers and fruits up to 3 meters in height.
