This is a genuine 1929-1937 vintage official BSA Plumb hatchet. It has the single-line Plumb mark near the poll, and the small fleur-de-lis on the cheek. It has the original screw style take up wedge which still works. Someone put a nail in the wedge at some point, but it is no longer there, and the head is tight. Good condition with no rust, but with the usual signs of use and wear consistent with it's nearly antique age!
