These were the first pair of speakers I ever bought new. I think it was about 1992 or so when I got them. I was working for a large stereo store so I was able to get them at just about cost. I seem to recall they retailed for $699 each. I re foamed them myself a few years ago, but they sound perfect and are still in use today.
