I am offering for sale this Good User Casey & Co Auburn No 18″ Hollow Woodworking Molding Plane INV#CF151W This is a fine Casey & Co, Auburn, NY No 18″ ” hollow woodworking molding plane. There is the name Casey & Co Auburn, NY on toe. On the heel there is the No 18″. The plane has some nicks & scars from use and toolbox, but in very good condition for its age with a fine finish, feel and patina. The plane measures 9-1/2″ L. x 1-3/4″ W. The wedge is original with a fine hairline but still tight and secure. The cutter measures approx: 7-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ is in good condition but it is extremely sharp. I always suggest sharpening for optimal performance. It is in good condition right out of woodworkers lifelong tool collection. “Photos are an integral part of this item’s description. What I think is the depth guide is tight and won’t move. The fence? moves but is somewhat tight. The blade and lock move good. This tool would probably need cleaned up and gone over really good before using. Needing adjusting, cleaning, straightening, and sharpening. Selling as is, parts or repair.
