Vintage Mann Edge Tool Company ‘Knot Klipper’ double bit axe made in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, USA. The head is clearly stamped on both faces – one side reads KNOT KLIPPER WARRANTED and the other MANN EDGE TOOL CO LEWISTOWN PA. This is a quality American-made forged steel axe with a symmetrical double bit head mounted on its original hardwood handle. Both cutting edges are intact. The head shows honest age with surface rust, pitting, and patina consistent with a working vintage tool. The wood handle is solid and straight with normal wear and some minor checking near the eye. A great piece for collectors, restoration, decor, or use after sharpening. Please review all photos as they form part of the description.
