Unused 1 1/2 mm “Plugging” Chisel for Sash Hinges – Two Cherries – mjdtoolparts

An UNUSED 1 1/2 M.M. “PLUGGING” CHISEL, No. A720, by Two Cherries, Remscheid, Germany. These specialized chisels, which were also produced with a 2 mm thick blade, were used for the fitting of specialized window sash hinges. The cutting edge measures 1 3/16″ in width. The complete process of fitting and mounting the hinges is shown in the Youtube video, “Fitschen, Fitschenbänder einstemmen, Lappenbänder für Türen und Fenster”.
