Montgomery WARD’S 12 A 120 V. 7-1/4″ CIRCULAR SAW M1Y-DU26-185J Case & BLADE

This Saw appears to have never been used. I am only calling it used because it was in storage and the case looks like to got a small amount of moisture in it at some time. You can see a some rust on the blade and there is a small stain on the manual. I powered up the saw and it ran very nicely. There is basically no wear on it item other than the original blade have rust spots. See all the photos for more details. Thanks

Stamped “Pat Apl’d For” (Patent Applied For), dating it to the initial production run. Takes 5 D-cells (not included). Montgomery Ward Vintage 3 3/4 Jaw Vise Swivel Base Good Working Condition Anvil

This is a vintage Montgomery Ward vise possibly sold in the 1960s based on the MW logo style. Markings on the bottom of the vise appear to be VT MW E (lying on its back) and a bisected M. As Montgomery Ward did not manufacture any of their own vises the markings MAY indicate it was made by Wilton or Columbian or Van Tool. Made of Semi Steel, no cracks in the metal. Attached anvil.

The part is identical to that used on Stanley planes of the period and would work on a Stanley plane. The original fixing screws to secure the fence to the plane arms and the original rosewood front knob are included with the fence.
