An FOUNDER'S GRADE LEFT FENCE for a Montgomery Ward & Company Master Quality combination plane, No. 84-3548, by Montgomery Ward & Company. Fully 98% of the original nickel plating remains on this fence, which was produced by Stanley for Wards. The part is identical to that used on Stanley planes of the period and would work on a Stanley plane. The original fixing screws to secure the fence to the plane arms and the original rosewood front knob are included with the fence. This fence has the micro dial fitting used on Stanley No. 45 planes beginning in the 1920's. It is in esssentially unused conditoin and it could be put directly to use. Length = 10.00 Inches (Ref.
