Vintage Single Bit Felling Axe Unmarked Cheeked Head 27” Wooden Handle
Vintage unmarked single bit felling axe featuring a classic cheeked (lugged) axe head and a 27-inch wooden handle. The forged head has pronounced reinforcing cheeks, a feature found on many older American logging and felling axes. A solid piece for collectors, restoration, display, or continued outdoor use. See photos for complete details. Condition Vintage pre-owned condition with normal wear from age and use. The axe head shows oxidation, pitting, edge wear, and a dark aged patina. No visible maker’s mark was found. The wooden handle has wear from use and storage. Powder post bug holes. Please review all photos carefully for the best representation of condition and included items.

The tape pulled out to just past 3 feet and retracted quickly. The face has the logo for the Atlantic Envelope Company with it spelled out on the reverse. The tape measure has exterior pocket wear and the metal tape appears to be white clad and clean with ” PR. APP’D NO.258 TC MADE IN U.S.A. The incremental marks are very clear and in inches. The tape measure is 1 5/16 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide. It is just over 3/8 of an inch thick and the bottom is stamped ” PARK U.S.A. ” Please study photos as they are part of the item description. We do not set the shipping rates.
