The Wetzler brand is a guess. Based on other comparable items made in Long Island city. Condition is used. Wear and tear from age, use and storage. Scuffs, scratches, dirt, dust, grime, surface rust. Parts move as they should. Some dents and gouges in metal. Metal nibs on plates. Top section is loose in its thread. This seems to be normal based on other bar clamps I have. These are pretty hard to find. Stamped Long Island City NY. They are large sized and are in good working order. They are used and do show some cosmetic wear such as scratches, stain marks, etc. They probably could be cleaned better if you prefer.
