Vintage Winchester No. 3010 Jack Plane No. 5 Size

This listing is for a vintage Winchester No. 3010 jack plane. This plane was made by Sargent for Winchester and is similar in size to a Stanley No. 5. at approximately 14″ long with a 2″ wide cutting iron. The plane was disassembled, given a light cleaning to check condition then reassembled. The casting is in very good condition with no cracks or damage and only showing normal signs of use. The japanning is mostly intact but there are sections missing and some areas of patina. The tote and knob are in good condition, but the knob does show a couple of hairline cracks. Both tote and knob tighten securely. Overall this is a beautiful example of a desirable plane in one of the most useful sizes. It would make a great addition to any collection! Two Antique Vintage Wood & Brass Handle Turnscrew Screwdrivers Cowles Winchester

Two old screwdrivers, or turnscrews as they were called in those days, the longer one (Cowles) I’m more confident is antique and possibly 19th century, the other shorter one (Winchester) may not be quite as old. Wood handles with brass collars, I assume the blades are steel. Here are the details and condition report: 1) 14.5 inches long This one has a Cowles Hardware Co and Superior mark on inscribed on each side of the handle, with wear to the mark on both sides (can only read Cowles on one side). -has wear and some damage to the wood and brass -hairline crack in thin part of the handle -blade is straight 2) 13.5 inches long On top of the brass collar is a mark “Winchester Leader” and “No. 12”. -white paint on blade and handle -part of handle worn down (like a dip) -more damage than the other one, e.g., wood and brass -blade is a little bent -small bit of green corrosion on the brass collar.
