Two old screwdrivers, or turnscrews as they were called in those days, the longer one (Cowles) I'm more confident is antique and possibly 19th century, the other shorter one (Winchester) may not be quite as old. Wood handles with brass collars, I assume the blades are steel. Here are the details and condition report: 1) 14.5 inches long This one has a Cowles Hardware Co and Superior mark on inscribed on each side of the handle, with wear to the mark on both sides (can only read Cowles on one side). -has wear and some damage to the wood and brass -hairline crack in thin part of the handle -blade is straight 2) 13.5 inches long On top of the brass collar is a mark “Winchester Leader” and “No. 12”. -white paint on blade and handle -part of handle worn down (like a dip) -more damage than the other one, e.g., wood and brass -blade is a little bent -small bit of green corrosion on the brass collar.
