WW II, U.S. Marked, Vintage H Boker & Co. 8-1/2” Lineman Pliers

This is an excellent pair of vintage H Boker Lineman’s pliers. They have the U.S. marking on the joint, which was apparently a marking for WWII issued pliers. My Father was in the Army from 1939 to 1960, and this was one of his tools. There are two small holes drilled at the plier cutting surface to aid in wire stripping. The is a hole near one end of one of the handles, apparently to allow hanging the pliers off a nail or hook. The pliers are approximately 8-1/2 inches long. The steel ruler in the last picture is not a part of this sale.

From a recent estate sale. VINTAGE  SNAP/ON FERRET F-5 CG 3/8″ SLIDE BAR T 8″ TOOL WORLD WAR II ERA! Made in USA! From the World War II era. Bar is not chrome, but rather a satin finish. Used, but in good condition. During World War II, Snap-on used cadmium plating on some of their tools.
