8-1/4" blade. 20-1/4" long with handle. Handle has cracks ,Handle is sturdy and Stuck in socket well. Steel has stains with micro surface pits. and a few scattered bigger pits. Steel is Nice and smooth to the touch. Edges of blade feel nice and smooth, Not many nicks. The ring I didnt glue on ,Left it up to you to decide what to use. Thanks Mike
