From resources ; I believe this is an early “W. GREAVES & SONS” Sheaf Works, out of Sheffield, England, that was in operation from 1823 to 1850. GREAVES & SONS from the 1823 to 1850 era. The steel and tool side of Sheaf Works which continued to stamp Greaves & Sons’ mark on its edge tools.
