This is a circa 1905 antique cast iron oil furnace gauge made by American Steam Gauge & Valve MFG Co. Boston, Mass. ( And distributed by) Thomas Somerville & Sons Washington DC. The front is 6.25 inches across. It still has its brass fitting/ screw. (It is from my husband's grandparents' home in DC, which was well over 100 yrs old over 30 yrs ago.) I took pictures with and without a flash so that you can see all details. Great for antique enthusiasts and collectors!
