Antique H. Hawke bit brace from Solly Works, Sheffield, England. Features a beautifully shaped rosewood frame with brass fittings and the original Hawke medallion in the head. Retains a rich, untouched patina with attractive age and use throughout. The ebony head has a visible age crack as shown in the photos. A desirable example of 19th-century English toolmaking and a great addition to any collection of antique woodworking tools, Sheffield tools, or hand drills.
