This is a genuine antique THOR Copperhead hammer made by The Thor Hammer Company in Shirley, Birmingham, England. The hammer is a Size 2, also known by the reference number 212 or 312. It has had a full and faithful working life and is offered in "as found" condition, perfect for display. While the original logos on the copper head are now virtually unreadable due to age and use, the overall piece has a wonderful, authentic display appeal and rich patina. This item is in used, antique condition as pictured. The handle shows a lovely, dark patina consistent with age and use. One larger piece is missing from the end of the wooden handle, which appears to be a very old break. The copper faces are heavily used and worn, adding to its vintage character, and the logos on the head are present but illegible. Will make a wonderful display piece.
