It is marked with "EAGLE SQUARE SINCE 1817 STANLEY TOOLS" inside a circular border with the eagle logo, and with "46-208 USA" on the blade, and with the STANLEY notched rectangle logo on the handle. They were the leading manufacturer of large steel framing squares, and made other squares as well.
