Japanese 30mm bench chisel (shinogi oiire nomi) by Miki blacksmith Rikyu. Hammer forged white steel #2 with Japanese white oak (shirakashi) handle. Shinogi oiire nomi are used in making mortises and dovetail joints. Hardware store storage so may have minor scratches and chance of minimal surface rust. It is a beautiful nomi!
