Hollow Moulding Plane size no.12 Thought to be 19th Century Antique Woodworking Tool Kirk & Asling was a woodworking tool and moulding plane manufacturer active in Nottingham from approximately 1883 to 1891. They were based at the Plough & Sickle Yard. A Previous owner Craftsman name stamped on this tool is R Howett, I have many planes and moulding planes that were previously owned by this Craftsman. I’ve got them along with all my late great uncle Derrick Turners tools, he was a Joiner we suspect he owned them second hand since 1940s to 1960s, sadly he passed away in 2018. .
