The tape pulled fully out to 79 inches and retracted quickly with no problem. We did not find any kinks or wear in the tape. It is in the easy view yellow plasticoat finish and has the Standard over the MM increments on the tape so they can be read side by side. The case is slightly over 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Please study photos it is sold as found and may need cleaning. It has a light engraving on the back that reads " IDA MAE ".
