The quality of the iron casting, and the execution of the plumb bob, is very good.- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.Preservation and damage:- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, but the Weight has several small knocks and scratches, all of which correspond to a rather careful use of the plumb bob.
