The P.A. Anderson Screw Lock Sapele Mahogany Pinned Marking Gauge is designed for precision and durability. Featuring a unique traditional low-profile locking screw design that has been largely absent from the modern market, this design brings back a practical and elegant solution inspired by classic British woodworking tools. Each marking gauge is handmade in Scotland from solid sapele mahogany and fitted with a brass wear face and a hardened steel pin The design takes inspiration from the traditional patterns of Alex Mathieson and William Marples while incorporating my own refinements to create a high-quality marking gauge built for years of workshop use.
