Specifications

BL was the code used by Sears to indicate tools made for them by Sargent, and the attached lateral lever is also an indication that it was made by Sargent. It is marked "CRAFTSMAN MADE IN USA BL". Note that this iron has the 3 rectangular holes for the adjuster, the long oval hole or slot for the lateral lever, and the lateral adjuster attached to the iron with the little screw.
