A oversized Taylor Lock trade sign, an advertising promotional piece offered to hardware stores and locksmiths for store display. Crafted from zinc, with a brushed finish to the metal, giving it a distinct texture and industrial feel. While the lock is modeled after early Taylor designs, this particular example is likely a mid-20th-century production. Displays signs of use and age, with an expected patina throughout.
