Used wood machinist tool box was storage for dies 4 compartment 8″X5-1/2″X2-3/4″

Specifications

This is a used wood machinist storage box with 4 storage compartments. It was being used to store thread dies. I don't see any maker's mark on it. It could be home made. I don't know how old it is, but the machine shop it was in was in business from the late 1980's to the early 90's. It's still in good enough shape to be used in a machine shop again or repurposed into something decorative. It has two hinges on the back, but it doesn't have any latch on the front. It doesn't look like it ever had a latch on the front. It also has some green foam glued to the inside of the lid. Please contact me if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
