Vintage unbranded Adze 8.5inches long-3 lb-7oz--Very good casting that has served well over the years. It still has a lot of life with a 5" blade. I did sharpen the blade which is a little rough--good for the first cut through the wood-The blade is 5 inches long-The hammer end is approx. 2 by 3"--The handle slot depth is 3" ( 2x1-1/2" at bottom) & ( 1-5/8x1-1/8" at top) . Beautiful tool and will do the same job as a new tool. Some folks put short handles on these 5" blade tools and use them as cutters choppers on wood block tables especially in farming.
