Up for sale, is a vintage, Plumb Carpenter's Hewing Hand Axe/Hatchet. The actual total weight = 35.8 oz. It's cutting edge is 4 1/4" and the head is 5 1/2" wide. One side of the blade is beveled and the other is flatter with a slight edge added. The head looks to be in good condition, and fairly clean. The handle has notches added to help your grip. Just polish the head, if you wish, add a fresh edge, and put it back to work... it's from a local estate... and, like all of my listings, the price includes FREE USPS Shipping...
