The Wells Brothers Little Giant No. 5 Tap & Die Set is an antique tap and die tool set for hand machining. Made by Wells Brothers in Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA, this set comes in a wooden box for easy storage and organization. These were likely used on farms in New York State and/or Northwest, Ohio, to repair tractors and other heavy implements. All components are present and included. The set was likely produced between 1885-1912. It was last used (sparingly) in the late 1990s. Includes wooden storage box. Heavy steel construction. Minimal pitting and few surface rust spots.
