The Wilton bench vise is made in the United States. It features 3.5 inch wide jaws, a steel swivel base and removable pipe jaws. The cast iron base was broken and poorly repaired before I obtained the vise. I made a new swivel base using steel, which is much stronger than cast iron. The new steel base is slightly larger than the original cast iron base. The pictures show the new and the old base. The old and the new base have 4 bolt holes for mounting, a must for the most secure and most ridged needs of any bench vise. As seen in the pictures, the vise jaws are in good condition. The Wilton brand is known for its quality craftsmanship, and this vise is no exception - it is ideal for professionals and collectors alike. The vise clamps as expected, and swivels/locks as expected.
