O.K. up for your consideration is an early buck bros, made in England. Nice stamping. Massive 2 inch wide edge, 10 inch long blade, solid cast steel. I rendered a flat sole, mirror finish. Edge highly polished. Bright finish on beveled deck, pitting remains that has no effect on use. Original handle. I protected this instrument with a custom hard maple, leather bound, leather snap. Includes leather strop pad. investment grade. Protection by walnut scabbard leather strapped. stropping pad always at the ready. I'll also include a 1/4"X2"X2" slice of compound. Thus, with proper care a Surgical sharp edge can be maintained for a lifetime .
