An old hardware stock TRIPLE REEDING CUTTING IRON by the Record Tool Works, Sheffield, England. This cutter, which will fit the Record No. 405 combination plane as well as the Stanley No. 45 and No. 55 planes, cuts three parallel 1/8" reeds. It is in unused condition. This cutting iron is designed to fit the Record No. 405 plane, but it will work with the Stanley No. 45 and No. 55 combination planes, and it will also work in the Record No. 405 combination plane produced by the Record Tool Works of Sheffield, England and the Veritas Large Combination Plane produced by Lee Valley Tools of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
