Hello this Stanley Bailey’s No.8 is in very good condition has not been cleaned on. Does have a couple of dark spots on the side that would clean up if somebody wanted to. The plane has been very well maintained through the years. Rosewood furniture has no repairs. The Q logo cutting iron is full length very clean the lateral adjuster is very clean all in all very nice plane the japanning has a couple of necks here and there, but overall in good condition all of the factory grind lines are still present and in the plane. SARGENT 407 NO.2 SIZE PLANE

This Sargent 407 is probably from the early 40’s. WW11 era as it’s a heavy casting with no brass. The condition is very good as seen in the photos. All finishes look original. The japanning is very nice.
