Both Diamond and J.P. Danielson offered Adjustable Wrenches with Broached Hanging Holes for brief periods. We did not pursue finding out why they did and then why they did not. This Diamalloy Wrench has all the characteristics appropriate for a tool made from 1940 until late 1940s. There are lengthy discussions about Broached Hanging Holes and name changes on Alloy Artifacts (http://alloy-artifacts.org/diamond-calk-horseshoe.html#tool-broached) for anyone wanting to verify the Wrench’s age. The Wrench bears evidence of use (see images) but it still functions properly. Some modest cleaning and lubrication will improve the worm’s movement. The Wrench could be used as a daily-work tool or as a show-and-tell. We will ship the Wrench by USPS 1st Class Mail on the next regular business day of work following receipt of payment.
