Drywall Saw Compass Saw Keyhole Saw 15 in. / 38 cm Keyhole Saws are primarily designed to cut drywall plasterboard — a type of construction panel made from gypsum sandwiched between sheets of heavy paper, used for building interior walls and ceilings. —————— These saws have long tapered blades ideal for cutting tight curves & working inside awkward, confined areas where larger saws can't fit. Wallboard is typically used as underlayment and rarely ends up as-is in its unfinished state for final presentation. Drywall saws are made to quickly cut through such thick material, roughing-in projects ready for refined surface finishing prior to applying wall plaster spackling compound, sanding, priming and painting. This tool is also known as a Jab Saw because the sharp pointy tip of the blade can be poked through material, to create a good opening in which to start your cut. Convenient Thumb Screw lets you to easily detach and re-attach the blade for compact storage and transport. Compass Saw Blades have large, sharp teeth with deep gullets that cut quickly, removing considerable material with each stroke. Sharpened on both sides of the sawblade, they cut on both the push and pull strokes. This lets you apply pressure in either direction for faster, more efficient cutting. The ergonomic light-weight handle with open pistol-type grip is designed for working in awkward or confined spaces— and makes overhead cutting easier with less strain on your arm & wrist.
