Hudson Bay Axe on Smoked American Hickory

Specifications

1 3/4 lb pitted Hudson Bay pattern. This axe head is likely Kelly made, however no makers mark is legible, nor paper label. The handle was custom made and fit to the head. The rich brown color of the timber is natural and is not a topical stain or varnish. Total length in 24”. The hang was wedged with a vintage iron wedge cap, that was polished and hammered, completely covering the top eye. Any questions please send a message.
