Vintage non-Keen Kutter hatchet some say pre-Keen Kutter but don’t really know its history, with the original branding and "E C SIMMONS ST. LOUIS MO USA #5" stamp. USA-made, is in good condition with light signs of use and the handle seems to be good and tight. 7-1/4” x 4” head with a 13-1/2” handle length. Keen Kutter is indeed made by EC Simmons but this one doesn’t bear that name.
