An ORIGINAL AND UNUSED 3/16 INCH WIDTH TONGUE CUTTING IRON by the Record Tool Works, Sheffield, England. This iron for a Record No. 405 will also work in the Stanley No. 45 or No. 55 combination plane as well as the large combination plane offered by Lee Valley Tools of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is in brand new, unused condition. Later type Record combination planes were no longer marked with the product number, but had a plastic sticker attached showing the size and shape of the blade.
