A PAIR OF EXTRA FINE GERMAN SILVER TRAMMELS having both upper and lower "keepers" to regulate the trammel on the beam. The fixing screws have early type deep spiral knurling. Each has been tastefully marked with the imprint of the original owner and possible maker, one "W.C. Tucker". William C. Tucker was listed as a "Pattern Maker" living in Providence, Rhode Island in City Directories for that City beginning in 1853 and continuing until the 1880's. Length = 6.00 Inches (Ref.
